July Dues are Due 🤑
Troop 3000's dues are $150 due every January and July. That means dues are now due again for July. If you haven't already done so, please send a $150 payment through Zelle to bsatroop3000@gmail.com. If you have any questions about your payments or need to set up a payment plan, please reach out to Mrs. DeLatte (Scoutmaster) or Mrs. George (Treasurer).

Committee Meeting 📌
The troop's leadership committee will meet virtually every other month on the last Wednesday of the month from 7-8PM. Please join us at our next meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2026 if you'd like to make suggestions or offer input on troop operations.

Committee Members Needed ✋
We are still looking for volunteers to help fill the following roles: Camping Coordinator, Service Projects Coordinator, Communications Coordinator, Fundraising Coordinator, Clothes Closet Coordinator, and Cub Scout Liaison. Please chat with Mrs. DeLatte if you want more information about the responsibilities. Many of the roles can be done at home with just a few hours of free time each month.

Camping Volunteers Needed
Parents will soon be asked to volunteer for at least one of the six campouts/overnight events happening this fall. Our scouts really love to go camping. They learn valuable skills and make core memories. But campouts require at least three adult volunteers for transportation, cooking, and scout supervision. If you haven't signed up to help because you don't want to sleep in a tent, don't have your own equipment, or can't pay additional registration fees, please reach out to Mrs. DeLatte or Mr. Galloway. We can make accommodations for many of those things.

Youth Protection Training Needed 🚨
There are still a few parents who are registered with our troop who need to take the S.A.F.E Guarding Youth Training. This is training that replaces Youth Protection Training (YPT). Even if your YPT certificate is less than 2 years old, it expired on May 31. You MUST take the new SYT course to continue as a registered member of our troop. And we do require at least one parent per family to register. The course is 90 minutes and must be renewed yearly instead of every 2 years. The good news is that the annual renewal course is only 15 minutes as long as you pass the quiz at the end).
