Summer Camp 🌞

Summer Camp at Camp Strake (open to any scout not going to Philmont) will be from June 7-13. The cost will be $460 per scout and $225 per adult.

Summer Camp Swim Tests 🏊

Here’s the registration link to sign up for summer camp swim tests hosted by the city of Plano. There are still openings the week before camp. 

Committee Meeting 📌

Action Needed 🚨
All parents who are registered with our troop need to take the S.A.F.E Guarding Youth Training by May 31. This is training that replaces Youth Protection Training (YPT). Even if your YPT certificate is less than 2 years old, it will no longer be valid after May 31. You MUST take the new SYT course by that date as a registered member of our troop. And we do require at least one parent per family to register. 

The course is 90 minutes and must be renewed yearly instead of every 2 years. The good news is that the annual renewal course is only 15 minutes as long as you pass the quiz at the end).

What We're Working on This Month 📅

• In May we finish up Archery and start work on Orienteering with Mr. Mike Darbe.
• NO MEETINGS on May 11 and May 25 because of end-of-the-year events and the Memorial Day holiday.
