For the October troop campout, we have the unique chance to do a church lock-in! We'll be sleeping right at our own Resurreciton Lutheran Church on Friday, October 20, and spending Saturday, October 21 finishing the Woodwork Merit Badge. We also have plans to do a service project in the afternoon on Saturday, helping our scouts get some much-needed service hours! (Can you also count these for school? Absolutely!)
Scouts can bring whatever they want to sleep on: pillow and sleeping bag, cot, or airmattress. We'll set up in the celebration center and spend the night there. We'll also have a fun movie on the screen before we go to sleep. Scouts will be picked up after dinner and campfire on Saturday night (at 9:00pm).
