April Campout 4.14.23 - 4.16.23

Our April campout will be troop olympics! Since we haven't trained for summer or winter events, this will be scout skills-based. There will be teams. There will be competitions. There will be prizes. We will be at Daingerfield State Park, and some competitions (weather permitting) will involve paddling on a lake. Scouts and adults must be a BSA classified swimmer to do the paddling competitions. If you have a swim test from the 2022 summer camp, that will be sufficient (Check with Ms. Smeltzer to verify). If not, please arrange to get that finished before the campout. Plano Parks and Rec offers the swim test. Please register at a time most convenient for you. 

Special packing item: water shoes and extra clothing that can get wet/muddy.

Medication Note: Medications are sorted by time of day administered. Each medication that a scout takes at a different time of day needs to be in it's own pill sorter in it's own plastic bag. The style shown below is preferred because it is easy to manage. Do not send prescription bottles. Do not send more medication than should be taken during a campout.
